Sunday's Sermon: Death
Today I want to talk about a topic that nobody likes to talk about, Death. Back in March, Tina’s mother became ill after a stroke and passed away. I had known Tina’s mother, Helen for over forty years. Tina has taken her death with difficulty and at times cries out of the blue. It has been difficult for us to come to the realization that we would no longer see her here on Earth, but in our hearts, we know we will meet again.
It was after Helen’s death that I wanted to do research on death, in order to get a better understanding of death to help Tina get through the loss of her mother.
What I have found researching death, is the fact that there are so many different theories about what happens to our souls when we die… that tells me that as humans we really want to know and understand about this event that ends every life… the event we call DEATH.
